截至记者发稿时为止，据乌拉泊村村民反映，在当地村民不断反映情况后，开始有施工人员陆续检查房屋，进行维修。

“2013年4月5日，天山区接到乌拉泊村村民反映搬迁安置点有个别空置安置房屋因地面下沉，导致墙体出现裂缝，存在安全隐患后，立即成立了以区长为组长的调查处理小组，安排专业人员对墙体裂缝安置房进行了勘察，发现有5栋空置安置房不同程度出现上述情况。其中以六标段13号安置房最为严重。”天山区建设局工作人员介绍。
让乌拉泊村农牧民关注的搬迁安置房选址，位于乌鲁木齐市南郊天山大道与兰湖路相交的三角地，占地574亩，建设600户，分为8个标段建设。每户安置房占地300平方米，建筑面积163.22平方米。
天山区建设局已经对责任单位进行追究，并起诉了原地堪单位、施工单位、监理单位。
“我们入住前，这些裂痕还不明显，这才半年，裂缝扩大到了差不多一公分，我们住的真不踏实。”先期入住安置点的村民阿思哈指着自家房子的多处裂缝表达了自己的担心。
“这个地方最早是采砂的地方，在回填土上盖房子，按照规定要把回填土挖走，而且建房时为抵御地震应设地圈梁，但是这些房子都没有。”村民马生荣说,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]。
“我们祖祖辈辈以种地和养殖为生，现在把我们的住所搬到5—6公里之外的地方,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]，而把耕地留在原地。这让我们如何种地？怎么放牧牛羊呢？”村民周洪林认为：当时相关部门开展搬迁工作时，采取“征房不征地”手段，给搬迁的农牧民造成生产与生活的分离和脱节。
记者看到，多处住宅外墙脚地面明显凹陷，并有多道裂痕，顺着房主人的指引，屋内前后窗台都出现不同程度的开裂，一直延续到地面。
